Westwoods Elementary School has partnered with Higher Ground Coffee Company to help raise money for the Run Across Ethiopia Global Foundation. On Tuesday, October 5th, at 1:30 p.m. staff from Higher Ground Coffee, will visit the Westwoods Elementary kitchen staff to train them on how to make espresso drinks. The espresso drinks will be available for sale to teachers and parents with all proceeds to benefit the Run Across Ethiopia Global Foundation.
Run Across Ethiopia (RAE) is a 400km ultra marathon to raise funds and awareness for Ethiopian education. The RAE project aims to raise approximately $100,000 for Ethiopian education projects, including the construction of 3 schools in the Yirgacheffe region.
