TCAPS Celebrates Count Day on Wednesday, September 29, 2010

On Wednesday, September 29th, Traverse City Area Public Schools will conduct the first of two official Count Days established in the State School aid Act. Count Day determines funding amounts, based on student attendance, that help schools pay for many academic programs and services. Many of TCAPS’ schools will celebrate Count Day with various school activities including a “lucky tray” celebration during lunchtime.

 

Students are asked to support their school by being in school on Wednesday, September 29th. Parents can show their support by having their children in attendance on this very important day.
