Traverse City Music Boosters invites all parents of TCAPS students who are interested in music or involved in school music programs to attend this year’s Annual Membership Meeting on September 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the TC Central High School Orchestra Room. A special student performance is planned in conjunction with the meeting and refreshments will be served.
Every parent with a child in a TCAPS music class is automatically a member of Music Boosters, with membership open to extended family members and interested members of the community as well. All are invited to attend this year’s annual membership meeting to learn about the many ways TC Music Boosters supports TCAPS’ K-12 Music Education Programs.
Traverse City Music Boosters is an all volunteer organization that supports music education in TCAPS schools by fundraising to provide student scholarships, mini-grants to help teachers purchase classroom equipment and materials not covered by school budgets, and funding for clinics and master classes.
Boosters also sponsors several annual events, including the Music Boosters Spring Concert, Used Instrument Sale, Flower Sales at High School Musical productions, and new in 2010 a Telethon on TV/98.
