Traverse City Area Public Schools would like to announce orientation for Traverse City Central High School incoming freshmen on Thursday, August 26th. Orientation for students with the last name beginning with A-K will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Students with the last name beginning with L-Z will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Freshmen orientation is intended for students to register for classes, meet the mentor they will be working with all year long, and participate in activities that encourage early connection to other students. Parents will attend a welcome session led by administrators. The goal is for everyone to leave feeling comfortable and ready to start the 2010-2011 school year.
