Traverse City West Senior High School is pleased to announce Kristen Nolan as the new head girls’ golf coach. Kristen is a special education teacher at Traverse City West Middle School and served in a volunteer capacity as the assistant golf coach last year. Kristen received her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and her Masters degree from Michigan State University. Kristen has a strong background in both golf and gymnastics and has given golf lessons at both youth and adult levels at the Grand Traverse Resort, Shanty Creek, and the Traverse City Country Club.
“We are pleased to have a young educator who is interested in engaging our students in athletics. Kristen will be a strong role model who understands the important qualities that competitive athletics teaches,” commented TC West Senior High School Athletic Director Patti Tibaldi. “Kristen is very involved in the golf community in Traverse City and will be an excellent representative of TC West Senior High School. We know Kristen will continue the tradition of excellence in both athletics and academics.”
