Former Traverse City West Senior High School student and basketball favorite Kalyn McPherson is offering basketball development classes to community members interested in improving their basketball skills. Kalyn will offer the following programs throughout the summer:
- Individual – Learn and improve in a very focused environment.
- Small Group – 2-5 people working both individually and as a group to become a better improve skills.
- Team Mentoring – Concepts and applications of team play and how to “better the ball.”
Kalyn has played D-1 basketball at the University of Michigan and holds Traverse City’s record as leading scorer for boys and girls. Dan Majerle previously held this record. Kalyn holds 13 high school records and 7 Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) records. She has over 10 years of experience playing basketball and 8 years of coaching at all levels.
