Today, Friday, June 4th, Traverse City Central High School Freshman Paige Pfannenstiel will host her first book signing of her newly published four hundred page book "Skyline: The Opal Chance." The compelling book is about a community of eagles who have all the traits (good and bad) of humans. Paige’s story was initially drafted as a writing assignment for her sixth grade class at TC East Middle School. She then continued to elaborate and write the story for the following two years. The book signing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Horizon Books, 243 East Front Street.
“I urge you today to look into your classrooms of future authors and wonder what book or goal will be met in the not so distant future,” commented East Middle School Principal Glenn Solowiej. “Congratulations Paige!”
