Beginning Tuesday, June 2nd, Traverse City Area Public Schools’ TV/98 will broadcast Cooks for Kids, a series of nine 30-minute training programs that showcase the fact that children should have access to healthy food and be able to make healthy food choices at home, in school, and in the community. The program will showcase restaurants, schools, and home cooking segments to describe how cooks use tested techniques of preparing and serving healthful, appealing foods to children. This integrated look at the child’s total food experience is what makes Cooks for Kids unique.
The upcoming Cooks for Kids broadcast schedule is as follows:
· Tuesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
· Wednesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
· Saturday mornings between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
