On Friday, May 28th, students at Eastern Elementary School will honor “Amazing Americans” by hosting a Wax Museum. Each fifth grade student has researched an “Amazing American” of his or her choice and will celebrate what makes them amazing by dressing up and posing as a wax statue. Each student statue will have the ability to be activated, which will allow them to move and recite a short speech about the “Amazing American” being portrayed. This event will take place from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the school gymnasium, 1600 Eastern Avenue.
