On Wednesday, May 12th, Traverse City West Senior High School hosted a special presentation by Bestselling Author Tom Brokaw for area students. Students from throughout the region took part in this presentation and heard the award-winning broadcast journalist share perspectives on the topic, “Tweet is a Verb. Writing is Forever.” The program was broadcast LIVE on TCAPS’ TV/98 (Charter Cable Channel 98) and could be viewed from any classroom or school location with a television that receives TV/98.
TCAP will rebroadcast the presentation tonight, May 26th, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on TCAPS TV/98 as well as at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29th.
TCAPS and area schools are privileged to be part of an amazing partnership with the National Writers Series of Traverse City, developed by New York Times Bestselling Author Doug Stanton, whose vision and energies made this event possible.
