On Wednesday, May 26th, students from Traverse City West Senior High School Freshman Academy will participate in mock job interviews. Students have been role playing, planning answers to probable questions, as well as working on a professional resume that they will bring to their mock interview. Twenty members of the professional community have volunteered their time to interview each student for fifteen minutes on a one-on-one basis. Students are expected to dress professionally for their interview and will be graded by the interviewers on the following aspects of the interviews:
- Application
- Appropriate dress
- Clear/appropriate speech
- Closing departure
- Eye contact
- Initial greeting
- Overall preparation
- Posture
- Responses to questions
- Resume
