Traverse City East Middle School is proud to announce the Farm Bureau’s America and Me essay winners. As part of TCAPS’ curriculum all eighth grade students in the Academically Talented (AT) program participate in the America and Me contest. The contest is a personal narrative regarding the student’s choice of a Michigan hero.
TC East Middle School essay final standings:
- Julia Berry First Place
- Lindsey Porter Second Place
- Carissa Comnick Third Place
Julia Berry’s essay will automatically be entered in the State competition. Results for the State competition will be released in April 2010.
