On Friday, April 16th, students from Traverse City Central High School, Traverse City West Senior High School, and St. Francis High School will host an opening reception to showcase high school student photography that will be on display at the Warehouse Lounge April 16th, through the middle of May.
During the reception, a silent auction fundraiser featuring photographic print from over ten professional photographers will also be held. Participating silent auction artists and photographers will include:
- Chris Arace
- David Fox
- Gary Howe
- Chris LaBranche
- Bill Lancaster
- Alan Newton
- Scarlett Beck Piedmonte
- Dave Speckman
- Dan Stewart
- Todd Zawistowski
The reception will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Warehouse Lounge, 221 Garland Street (formerly known as Cuppa Joe’s). Refreshments will be available for purchase. Select student photographs will also be for sale during the opening reception. All proceeds raised will benefit TCAPS’ high school photography departments.
