On Saturday, February 20th, the Traverse City Central High School Key Club will host Kids Against Hunger (KAH) Packing Day. Students from TC West Senior High School and St. Francis High School will help the TC Central Key Club pack dry, nutritious meals to be sent to children without food. Meals will be sent to local organizations as well as overseas. Packing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the TC Central High School Cafeteria, 1150 Milliken Drive.
The KAH program is funded by grants and the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City. KAH was started in the hope of getting necessities to the almost 16,000 children around the world who die from hunger or malnutrition each day.
