Traverse City Area Public Schools has been awarded $4,500.00 by Traverse City Light and Power Community Investment Fund. The contribution will benefit TCAPS’ elementary science programs by supplementing funding for the Magnets, Matter, and Energy, and the Electric Circuits and Magnetism Science Curriculum.
"We are so grateful to Traverse City Light & Power for their continued support of TCAPS' inquiry-based science curriculum,” commented TCAPS’ Science District Support Specialist, Sander Scott. “In these challenging economic times, the children and families of TCAPS’ students are blessed to have a community partner like TCL & P."
