Beginning now through Thursday, December 3rd, Eastern Elementary School is hosting an Annual Peacemaker Winter Clothing Drive. Clean gently used outdoor clothing and boots may be dropped off in the front office at Eastern Elementary School, 1600 Eastern Avenue. All donated item will be taken to the Goodwill Inn where they will be passed out to community members in need during the Goodwill Inn Thanksgiving meal.
Traverse City Area Public Schools’ Peacemaker Program provides extensive conflict resolution training to elementary students interested in becoming a Peacemaker. Peacemakers volunteer to help students with minor peer problems at their schools.
