Traverse City Area Public Schools is recruiting parent volunteers to serve on the Sex Education Advisory Committee. The advisory board meets on the first Thursday of every month to review sex education curriculum and materials according to state law and local bylaws. Membership for the advisory board must include:
- Clergy
- Community Health Professionals
- Educators
- Parents
- Students
Interested volunteers will need to fill out an application and return it to TCAPS’ Nursing Department no later than November 25th.
