On Friday, October 2nd, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. the Eastern Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will sponsor Fall Family Friday. School families and community members are invited to participate in this free event that will include:
- Campfire Sing-A-Long: Sing a campfire song around a lighted simulated campfire.
- Cherry Tree Creation: Create a cherry tree using paper and cotton balls.
- Fishing Pond Game: Use fishing poles to “fish for prizes.”
- Leaf People Activity – Create “Leaf People” using leaves and construction paper.
- Lollipop in a Leaf Pile: Try to find a lollipop in a big pile of leaves.
- S’mores: Make the “perfect camping treat” with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.
- Ski Race: Work in teams and “ski” across a section of the gymnasium floor.
