Traverse City West Senior High School Volleyball Teams to Host "Dig Pink" Volleyball Match on 10/7/09

On Wednesday, October 7th, Traverse City West Senior High School volleyball teams in conjunction with the Side-Out Foundation will host a “Dig Pink” volleyball match to help raise money for breast cancer research. TC West Volleyball teams will play against Gaylord High School. Junior varsity and freshmen matches will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity match will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the TC West Senior High School Gymnasium, 5376 North Long Lake Road.

 

Dig Pink is a Breast Cancer Awareness Rally held during the month of October to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research. Every year Dig Pink holds hundreds, potentially thousands, of featured high school and college matches across the country to help educate and raise funds to eradicate this terrible disease.

 

Admission is $5.00 per person. Donations may also be made at each volleyball match. All money raised will go directly to Breast Cancer Research. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the volleyball matches in support of a cure for Breast Cancer.
