General Educational Development (GED) Testing will be offered at Traverse City Central High School for all persons, 18 years of age or older, seeking to complete their high school equivalency requirements (under special circumstances 16 and 17 year olds may be admitted to take the GED Test.). To qualify the person must have been out of a regular school program for one year or their class must have graduated.
Participants must pre-register at the Principal’s Office at Traverse City Central High School, 1150 Milliken Drive, one week prior to the chosen test date. Cost is $100.00 (cash or money order only) due at time of registration; $20.00 for individual tests including retakes. To take the complete GED test, participants will need to attend both dates in September, October, or November.

· October 12th and 13th
· November 9th and 10th
A photo ID is required at the time of taking the test. Testing will be in room F145 and will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. and will end at approximately 7:30 p.m. Please do not bring CD or MP3 players, beepers, cell phones, calculators, or any other electronic devises. No food or beverages are allowed in the testing room.
GED Preparation Classes are offered through the Traverse Bay Area (TBA) Adult Education Department (231-922-7825) or Michigan Works (231-922-3739).
