On Saturday, August 22, 2009 Century Asset Management, Inc. will hold a public auction to sell off surplus equipment from Traverse City Area Public Schools. The equipment being sold is no longer usable by the school system. The auction begins at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Airport Access Road and Parsons Road in Traverse City (located in the first building on the left at the old airport entrance road – signs will be posted).
Sample items to be auctioned include:
- Food Service & Related
Vulcan grill, gas ranges, work tables, salad bard, refrigerator/freezers, beverage cooler, hot dog machine, ice-cream freezer, cafeteria tables w/benches, food warmers, food display cabinets, etc.
- Special Interest
Aluminum bleachers w/seating for 300+, portable bleachers, playground equipment
- Classroom, Office, & Miscellaneous
file cabinets, chairs, desks, workstations, tables, bookcases, televisions, display stands, computers, lighting, cabinets, partitions/dividers, panels, books, electrical supplies, lockers, pianos, sheet music, large quantity lumber, diamond fencing, gym mats, free standing basketball hoops, pressure tank, pallet jack, industrial floor scrubbers, podium/lecterns, commercial air conditioning unit, rolled carpeting, science lab equipment, band uniforms, plastic drums, extension ladders, globes, lockers, art supplies, school clocks, safety pylons, racks, table saw, chop saw, blueprint machine, white/black boards, etc.
