On Saturday, August 1st, Traverse City Central High School’s softball and baseball teams will host the Fifth Annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Benefit Softball Game and Home Run Derby. The event is in memory of TC Central High School softball player Erika Bolton, who lost her battle with Leukemia at the age of 22. The event is open to the public and will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Thirlby Softball Field (corner of Thirteenth Street and Oak Street).
All proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the LLS to support efforts of finding a cure for Leukemia and other blood diseases.
