On Thursday, July 9th, students from the Traverse City Central High School Orchestra will be selling rubber ducks throughout the day for individuals that would like to take part in the Annual Boardman Duck Race. The duck race will launch at 4:00 p.m. at the Hannah Lay Park at the Union Street Bridge, and finish at the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce at the Cass Street Bridge.
The Traverse City Optimist Club sponsors the Duck Race and several area businesses have contributed prizes for the first 30 winners.
Ducks are $5.00 each, a six-quack is $25.00, and a corporate duck is $100.00.
