Area-wide families are invited to register for Boys and Girls Club of Grand Traverse (BGCGT) Summer Camp. Summer Camp is offered at two locations and will run Monday through Thursday, June 22nd through August 13th, from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Registration will be held on Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Traverse City West Middle School, 3950 Silver Lake Road.
Summer programming will be offered at the following locations:
• Traverse City West Middle School, 3950 Silver Lake Road
Ages: 11-16, Monday – Thursday, No programming week of July 6th
• Strongheart Center, 2600 North, Strongheart Way
Ages: 6-18, Monday – Thursday, No programming week of July 6th
“It is our desire to help our young people to succeed in life by giving them every opportunity to better themselves and their communities,” stated Boys and Girls Club of Grand Traverse Board Chair, Rod Brown.
“Summer Programming with Boys and Girls Clubs of Grand Traverse is a great way for youth to stay active and continue to receive educational programming,” said Executive Director Sara Weatherholt. “Our program offers families a positive and affordable place to send their children during the summer.”
Registration fee for BGCGT Summer Camp is $25.00 and is due at time of registration. Field trips may be available at an additional cost.
