The Traverse City West Senior High School Cheer Program will hold a two day Cheer Clinic Camp on August 21, 2009 through August 22, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Traverse City West Senior High School, 5376 North Long Lake Road. The clinic is open to Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including chants, cheers, jumps, and tumbling.
Cost is $35.00 for both days. Registration is Friday, August 21st from 8:45 a.m. – 9:15 a. m. Participants will receive a T-shirt and at the end of the camp Kindergarten through 4th grade students will cheer at the August 27th TC West Senior High School Junior Varsity football game and 5th through 8th grade students will cheer at the September 11th TC West Senior High School Varsity football game at Thirlby Field. All participants will perform at half time.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch and water bottle and to wear athletic shoes,
t-shirt, and gyms shorts or sweat pants. Hair should be pulled back away from the face and no jewelry, please.
