Traverse City Area Public Schools is expanding All Day/Every Day (ADED) Kindergarten Program. Six elementary locations will offer All Day/Every Day Kindergarten for the 2009-2010 school year. The schools offering ADED Kindergarten are:
- Blair Elementary School
- Cherry Knoll Elementary School
- Courtade Elementary School
- Interlochen Community School
- Silver Lake Elementary School
- Traverse Heights Elementary School
TCAPS’ ADED Kindergarten Program provides an exciting, joyful learning journey for your child. TCAPS’ caring and highly qualified teachers understand the whole child and are skilled in approaches that will engage and inspire your young learner. TCAPS’ Kindergarten Program is based on the State of Michigan Standards with the commitment that every child will be reading by the end of the third grade. Language arts, math, social studies, arts, music, and physical education are all part of the curriculum. A wide variety of approaches are used to help all students to learn and develop.
Registrations are welcome at each of the elementary schools listed or at the Tompkins/Boardman Administration Center, Pupil Accounting Office, 412 Webster Street.
