On Monday, June 1st, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. forty-eight fifth grade students from Eastern Elementary School will embark on a science sailing trip aboard the Inland Seas and Manitou tall ships. Students will conduct water-related science experiments and learn basic sailing terms and techniques while on board.
Half of the students will sail out of Suttons Bay aboard the Inland Seas ship. While the other half will sail from Greilickville aboard the Manitou ship. Eastern Elementary School fifth grade students earned points from working at the annual school carnival and were able to use the profits to pay for this exciting voyage.
