On Friday, May 22nd, Traverse City East Middle School seventh grade students participated in a day of “All Children Exercising Simultaneously” (ACES). Students participated in a variety of activities that were set up by teachers during resource period (2:00 p.m. – 2:42 p.m.). Some of the activities that students were able to take part in were:
- Basketball
- Frisbee
- Obstacle Courses
This year the TC East Middle School seventh grade class has focused on the idea of “community.” Students and staff interaction outside of the daily academic rigors allows for opportunities to grow as a community within the school.
