Traverse City Area Public Schools and Zonta Club of Traverse City are pleased to present “Children’s Authors Night and Book Signing Event”, as part of Festival of Trees on Thursday, November 16^th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the NMC Great Lakes Campus – Hagerty Center. The event, funded by Traverse City State Bank and Mitten Press of Ann Arbor, will include the following authors / illustrators and their books:

• Jeffery Schatzer, author, The Bird in Santa’s Beard and The Bump on Santa’s Noggin
• Martin Brennan, author, I Saw It in the Garden
• Cynthia Reynolds, author, The Far-Flung Adventures of Homer the Hummer and Rascal Makes Mischief on Mackinac Island
• Mike Monroe, illustrator, A is for Ark, Wonders of Nature Sketchbook and I Saw It in the Garden
• Bruce Langton, illustrator, Once Upon a Christmas Eve and Hands as Warm as Toast

Come to meet and greet authors and illustrators plus others from Mitten Press. School Chosen Ambassadors will arrive at 5:30 p.m. for interviews with Authors and Illustrators. Cost is $1.00 per child and $5.00 per adult. Come vote for your school tree, listen to authors and illustrators stories, and get your favorite book signed. Refreshments, books, will be available for purchase, plus beautiful trees everywhere – a great way to start your holiday season.
