Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) now offers parents the option to pay for tuition and registration fees for early childhood programs online. Parents at all TCAPS’ schools can access PaySchools, a new online payment processing system. Through TCAPS’ District Web site, www.tcaps.net, parents may pay tuition and registration fees either by e-check, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover cards. Programs that can be paid for through the online system include:
- Preschool
- Kindergarten Enrichment
- Chinese/English Immersion Program
- Montessori Programs
- Extended Day Child Care
- Summer Camp Programs
Once a payment has been made, parents will immediately receive an e-mail receipt confirming their purchase(s). PaySchools does not save or store bank or credit card information to ensure privacy and security for users.
PaySchools offers parents the ease of being able to make payments 24 hours a day/7 days a week, the security of knowing the school has received payments, the protection of sensitive account information, and the convenience of having records of purchases and payments available online. TCAPS piloted the online payment processing system, PaySchools, with Westwoods Elementary School families during the 2007-2008 school year.
