Old Mission Peninsula School will host their annual “Pasta on the Peninsula” fundraiser on November 9, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the newly renovated Old Mission Peninsula School. The evening will include dinner (spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert) prepared and served by the Trubac family, owner of Schelde Restaurants; a 50/50 raffle; and an extensive silent auction representing community donations, classroom creations, and specialty baskets.

Community members are invited to attend and help celebrate the reopening of the school, its renovation, and reuniting with the Peninsula Township Public Library. Cost is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, and $6.00 for senior citizens. There is a maximum cost of $30.00 for families of five or more. All funds raised from the evening will be used for the Spanish program, Junior Achievement, Inland Seas, and playground renovation.
