On Thursday, April 10, 2008 fifth grade students from Eastern Elementary School will experience “life in the colonial days.” Students will be dressed in colonial period clothing, while visiting a “colonial town” and experiencing different parts of colonial life such as going to college and dame school, visiting the tavern while enjoying a colonial treat, as well as other colonial days activities. Colonial days will take place in the Eastern Elementary School cafeteria from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
