On Tuesday, April 8^th and Wednesday, April 9^th Terry Wooten, poet and bard from Stone Circle, will be at Glenn Loomis Elementary School to present and hold poetry workshops for students in grades 4 – 6 in the school library beginning at 9:00 a.m. The workshops will involve “mapping.” Students will create their map by penciling in their memories of Glenn Loomis Elementary School, whether happy, sad, or funny. Mr. Wooten will then lead the students on writing a memory poem from the maps they created.
