Traverse City Area Public Schools is piloting PaySchools, a new online payment processing system that allows parents to pay for school related fees and products online through their school’s Web site. The PaySchools system is currently being offered to Westwoods Elementary School parents.
Through this system, parents can access PaySchools through the Westwoods Elementary School Web site, www2.tcaps.net/westwoods, and pay for Preschool and Extended Day Child Care tuition and registration fees, either by e-check or Mastercard, Visa, or Discover cards. Parents will immediately receive an e-mail receipt confirming their purchase(s). PaySchools does not save or store bank or credit card information to ensure privacy and security for users.
PaySchools offers parents the ease of being able to make payments 24 hours a day/7 days a week, the security of knowing the school has received payments, the protection of sensitive account information, and the convenience of having records of purchases and payments available online. TCAPS will evaluate the PaySchools system at the end of the school year to determine whether the system would be beneficial to TCAPS’ families district-wide.
