Administrative Assignments Announced for the 2008 — 2009 School Year Minimize

Traverse City Area Public Schools is pleased to announce the following administrative assignments for the 2008 – 2009 school year:
 
  • Glenn Loomis Elementary School Principal Colleen Smith has been reassigned to be the Elementary Principal at Willow Hill Elementary School. Colleen has been the Glenn Loomis Elementary School principal since 2001, and was an elementary teacher with Traverse City Area Public Schools from 1988 – 2001.
  • Norris Elementary School Principal Lisa Craker has been reassigned to be an assistant principal at Traverse City Central High School. Lisa has been the Norris Elementary School principal for the past school year and was Traverse City East Junior High School grade principal from 2000 – 2007. She was an elementary and junior high school teacher with Traverse City Area Public Schools from 1978 – 2000.
  • Interlochen Community School Principal Sander Scott has been transferred to be the Elementary Principal at Westwoods Elementary School. Sander has been the Interlochen Community School principal since 2004 and also served as principal at Westwoods Elementary School for the past school year. Sander was Kingsley Middle School principal from 2001 – 2004.
  • Bertha Vos Elementary School Principal Caroline Wacker has been reassigned to be the Elementary Principal at Courtade Elementary School. Caroline has been the Bertha Vos Elementary School principal since 1993. She also served as principal at Courtade Elementary School for the past school year. She was an elementary school principal in Gladstone, Michigan from 1990 – 1993 and a teacher from 1985 – 1990.
