At its June 26, 2006, Board of Education meeting, the Board adopted a Resolution to designate November in every year, commencing November 2007, as the regular election date. Therefore, the Organizational meeting of the Board was moved from July 2007 to January 14, 2008. The schedule below shows the dates Board meetings will be held from January 14, 2008 – January 12, 2009.
Please take notice that the Board of Education of Traverse City Area Public Schools, 412 Webster Street, Traverse City, Michigan, phone (231) 933-1725, will hold Regular Meetings beginning at 5:30 p.m. (Informal Session and/or Closed Session) and 6:30 p.m. (Regular Business) on the second Monday of each month; and will hold Regular Study Sessions beginning at 5:30 p.m. (Informal Session and/or Closed Session) and 6:30 p.m. (Regular Business) on the fourth Monday of each month, at the Tompkins Boardman Administration Center, Curriculum I & II, 412 Webster Street, Traverse City, Michigan, on the following dates:

Only one meeting is scheduled in the month of December, due to Holiday Recess.
Additional special meetings will be called as needed and the place and time designated for each meeting will be properly posted in accordance with Board Bylaws and the Michigan Open Meetings Act. Proposed minutes of said meetings shall be available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools at the above address, eight business days after said meeting. Approved minutes shall be available for public inspection at the same location and time, five business days after the meeting at which they are approved. Copies shall be available upon request.
Note: Regular Study Sessions may be cancelled due to lack of agenda items.
All Board meetings will air live on TCAPS Channel 98 at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the scheduled meeting and will rebroadcast on the following Monday (when the Board is not scheduled to meet) at 6:30 p.m.
