Traverse City Central Hall of Fame Nominations are now being accepted at the Traverse City Central High School Athletic Office or on-line at http://www2.tcaps.net/csh/hall_fame/index.htm. To make a nomination a completed nomination form, three letters of support, and a picture of the candidate must be submitted by January 31, 2008.
The purpose of the TC Central Hall of Fame is to honor past graduates and staff who have excelled in their fields, given back to the community, and possess outstanding integrity. There is an emphasis on developing Traverse City heritage, instilling pride in TC Central and the community, and in providing strong role models for students to emulate.
“Hall of Fame” Class of 2006 inductees included former Trojan athletic director John Sonnemann, Phoenix Suns great Dan Majerle, Dr. Charles Kelly, Dr. William Smith, and former NFL football pro Mark Brammer. The inaugural class of inductees featured Gov. William Milliken, Dr. Terrie Taylor, basketball pro Tom Kozelko, football coach Jim Ooley, and Dr. Tom Hall.
