Students, staff, and families from Norris Elementary School, Willow Hill Elementary School, and Long Lake Elementary School are planning a Family Fun Road Rally to provide an opportunity for the three schools communities to get to know one another and to raise funds for a good cause.

On Saturday, October 20, 2007 the three schools will meet in the Traverse City West Senior High School Commons at 4:00 p.m. and will end at Moomers by 7:00 p.m. Participants are asked to bring paper and pencils, a phone book, clipboards, dictionary, a Traverse City map, and to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Moomers will be offer hayrides from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a cost of $2.00.

Cost is $20.00 per family. Pre-registration is required. All registration proceeds will be used to assist a family at each of the three schools who are experiencing a medical crisis. Moomers has generously agreed to donate a portion of the ice cream and hayride proceeds from the event to the families.
