Traverse City West Senior High School economics teacher, Dr. Dan McDougall, has been invited by the Gus A. Stavros Center for Free Enterprise and Economic Education, to be part of a distinguished panel in February of 2008 as part of the Center’s  “Great Teachers in Economics Series.” Dr. McDougall is the only high school teacher in the country to be extended this honor.

The Great Teachers in Economics Series was designed by the Gus A. Stavros Center to recognize the achievements of truly outstanding teachers of economics and to elevate the importance of teaching within the profession. The program brings some of the nation’s best teachers together to conduct workshops and share ideas about how to become a better teacher.
