Reminder to all Cherry Knoll Elementary School students and staff to keep reading! The summer “Race into Reading” Challenge is going strong. Read at the beach, at home, in the car, at grandma’s, at camp, or wherever you are!

The “Race into Reading” Challenge is a great way for students to maintain and improve reading skills, comprehension, and fluency over the summer months. The challenge runs from June 15 – September 2, 2006. Students are asked to keep track of their summer reading by using the Summer Reading Challenge calendar. If the students read more hours than Cherry Knoll staff members, then the staff will ride bikes around the playground; one lap for every hour students surpass staff reading time.
