Michael George will be joining Traverse City Area Public Schools’ SCI-MA-TECH program, located at TC Central High School, and begin serving as the technology and CADD teacher this fall. Michael brings to the classroom nearly ten years of experience in the computer and manufacturing industries at Ford Motor Company and Perot Systems. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Michigan. In addition, he has over two years of classroom teaching experience at Buckley Community Schools where he received the 2005-2006 Teacher of the Year award. He has degrees from Wayne State University and Eastern Michigan University in computer science, physics, and vocational education. Michael has also served as a mentor to area FIRST Robotics Competition teams for the last two years.
