There is a correction to the kindergarten schedule for the first week of school listed on page 5 in Traverse City Area Public Schools’ Back to School Supplement that was distributed in the August 12, 2007 Record-Eagle. There was an error on the schedule for September 6th and 7th; it should have stated that students would attend full days on Thursday, September 6th, and Friday, September 7th.
The correct kindergarten schedule for the first week of school is:
Tuesday September 4, 2007 Half Day for Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten Students
Wednesday September 5, 2007 Half Day for Monday/Wednesday Kindergarten Students
Thursday September 6, 2007 Full Day for Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten Students
Friday September 7, 2007 Full Day for Monday/Wednesday Kindergarten Students
There is also a correction to the time of TC West Junior High School’s Orientation for students new to TCAPS listed on page 6 of the Back to School Supplement. The correct date and time should read be August 24, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
On page 7, Central High Schools final registration dates should be: Wednesday, August 22, 2007 for Juniors and Seniors from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 23, 2007 for new students and Sophomores from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. New student, Sophomore, and Parent Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
