Traverse City Central High School is pleased to announce Senior Captain of the Trojan Baseball team, Kevin Krantz, has officially committed to the University of Michigan. Krantz was recruited as a shortstop. The University of Michigan Baseball team was a Super Regional Finalist before bowing out to eventual National Champions Oregon State University this past season.

In 2007, Kevin led the Trojans with a .475 batting average and eight homeruns.  He was named 1^st Team All Conference, 1^st Team All District, 1^st Team All Region, and 2^nd Team All State for the 2006-2007 school year.  Kevin set many Trojan Baseball Records during his high school baseball career.  Kevin is the 31^st Trojan Baseball Player in the past ten years to go on to play college baseball.
