At its July 9, 2007 meeting, the Traverse City Area Public Schools Board of Education approved a three-year contract with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 25 (Maintenance/Custodial) for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010.
The financial terms of the contract include a 2% on schedule wage increase for 2007/08 through 2009/10 and significant cost saving changes in the areas of health insurance and overtime payments.
