Why: Traverse City Area Public Schools will re-broadcast the July 9th TCAPS Board of Education Meeting in its entirety this evening at 6:30 p.m. on TCAPS’ Educational Cable Channel 98. A special message from Superintendent, Jim Feil, will also be broadcasted.
Due to technical problems with the Board Room's PA System, the audio output resulted in inconsistent sound quality during the original “live” broadcast. Corrective action was taken during the broadcast to improve audio quality for the "Public Comment" portion of the meeting. We will continue to work to improve the overall quality of programming on TCAPS TV98 to allow the TCAPS community access to School Board Meetings and other TCAPS events.
TCAPS recently received funds from the Cherry Capital Cable Council to support necessary upgrades to the District public access channel station. This project is in process and we are hopeful that once the upgrades are installed that this technical problem will be resolved.
