On Friday, October 13, 2006 Eastern Elementary School students will join together to support their school during the “Going Bananas for Eastern” fundraiser. Students will jog, hop, skip, wheel, or walk around the track for twenty minutes with their classmates to help raise money to support educational activities such as field trips, Spanish language program, assemblies, computer education, etc. All activities will be on the school playground from 9:30 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.  (breaking for lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
