Senator Jason Allen Included in Eastern Elementary School’s Effort to “Read Around Michigan”

March is Reading Month and the students at Eastern Elementary School are striving to “Read Around Michigan.” Each minute student’s read at home equals one mile on the school’s 2,077 mile journey around Michigan. To further promote reading and the Michigan curriculum studied by all fourth graders in the state, Senator Jason Allen will come to Eastern Elementary School on Monday, March 26^th at 10:45 a.m. to read “The Legend of Michigan” with a group of fourth grade students.
