Parents of next year’s 9^th grade students are invited to attend the 8^th into 9^th Grade Parent Orientation Night on Thursday, February 8^th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Traverse City East Junior High School Performance Hall.  Staff will present information to help familiarize parents with the transition into ninth grade.  Information regarding the upcoming scheduling process including information on required courses, elective courses, the enrollment process, and information about the ninth grade year of high school will be discussed during the meeting.

Following the presentation representatives from the ninth grade staff will be available to answer any questions about the ninth grade year.  Next year’s 9^th Grade office staff is:
