GED Testing will be offered at Traverse City Central High School for all persons, 18 years of age or above, seeking to complete their high school equivalency requirements. To qualify the person must have been out of a regular school program for one year or their class must have graduated.

Traverse City Area Public Schools has received the Association of School Business Officials International’s (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award for excellence in the preparation and issuance of the fiscal year-end 2005 financial statements.
The Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Program was designed by ASBO International in order to recognize districts that have met high standards of financial reporting. The award, the highest recognition offered by ASBO for school district financial operations, is awarded to school systems that have met or exceeded the standards of the program.
