District School Improvement Team (DSIT) Meeting Information
Continuous school improvement initatives are strongly endorsed by the TCAPS Board of Education to maintain effective schools as defined by state guidelines. Using various sources of data, the DSIT Team identifies district school improvement goals. At each DSIT meeting, building teams report the implementation status of their individual school improvement plans with appropriate supporting data. These individual school improvement plans must also support the District's goals. Whenever supporting data for the District's goals becomes available, this information is presented to the DSIT for its review, evaluation, and recommendations. On an annual basis, DSIT officially reviews the status of the District objectives and makes implementation recommendations for the following year.
